What is more pleasurable?

Pleasure is a subjective word.
To my opinion, eating is pleasurable. Breathing is much more pleasurable. Just ask those lungs / asthma patients. What would they give to be able to breathe properly. Similarly, to be able to pass motion is another pleasure that we often overlooked. What is being kept inside in not healthy. What is supposed to be discarded by the body system, gets stuck in between and ended up becoming toxins to the body.

"Behold! In the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the alternation of night and day - there are indeed Signs for men of understanding" Al Quran : Surah Ali Imran 3 : 190

When we we get sick, it signals that our body cannot cope with the amount of work it has to do. Overeating, over indulging. At times we love the sweet and the aromatic, we forget to take in the goodness of plain mineral water. Of which, we need between 2 to 2.5 litres a day.

Acupuncture can also assist in getting the systems on the go, to work optimally. Primarily, the meridian point of LI4 could be used but it would not be suitable for pregnant women.

Kuala Lumpur to Bandung

I just came back today after spending 5 days in Bandung. She remains pretty much the place for a cool holiday since I was last in Bandung in 2008.

The cool air makes learning very condusive, as people are always fresh.  There is no need for air-conditioning or fan where I was.

Having been invited to BRC, I took an early flight to Bandung on the 14th October, reaching there in the evening. As the time in Bandung is one hour behind Malaysia, at 6.30PM, it was already dark. It was also because of the rainy season in Bandung.

The early morning was filled with a live radio interview on  MQ FM. Listerners called in after listening to our chat on beauty facial acupuncture. After finishing the radio interview, I was chauffeur driven to BRC to conduct a course on Beauty Facial Acupuncture - aptly named Botok Akupuntur. The theory part was done in the morning and continued after lunch. then came the practical part where everyone paticipating were eager to try on their friends' place. That was the fun part. After that, 2 participants stood up to to share their comments and experience that day. Alhamdullilah, I received many positive comments as they are happy to learn what they have not learnt aforehand.

Facial acupuncture leaves the face feeling tight and the fine lines can be smoothen over a few sessions of acupunture. The natural effects could last for a month depending on one's lifestyles. For those wishing to look more radiant, they can try acupunture every week. Minimumly, at a space of 3 days.

Facial Acupuncture

Today, we had an acupuncture course on the beauty series. It was about facial acupuncture to get a facelift effect without having to resort to injections or minor surgeries.

My students learnt about the basic introduction and concepts about acupuncture in the first part of the day. Facial acupuncture points were introduced and videos were shown to further enhance their knowledge. The latter part of the day was spent practising what they had learnt.

Puan Atikah, a 59 year old participant commented "I did not feel any pain at all when the needles were inserted. I felt relaxed and refreshed."

We smoothered the face with Minyak But But, a herbal ointment before inserting the needles. It has antiseptic qualities and heals wound quickly (you can purchase it from us at only RM10 a bottle, exclusive of postage) .

Another participant En. Abdul Malek was at first apprehensive about  doing the practical part.  He was all for it when the needles were inserted onto him. When we gave assurances to En. Abdul Malek that we will guide him along the steps, he was willing to give it a try.

After that, En Abdul Malek have this to say, "Well, I didn't think I could do acupuncture, inserting the needles and all, but now I could!

Your Palm Holds Many Secrets

When you extend your palm for a handshake, you can actually be analysed in a few seconds. For the trained eye, a person's health indicator is shown on the palm itself.

Put aside palmistry or star reading...our health diagnosis can really help you to detect your body's weakness 3% in advance. When we learn about palm reading with regards to health indication, we can actually help ourselves. We can avoid agravating our health by taking the right food and do the necessary before we have to fork out thousands of  Ringgit for a surgery.

For example, your palm may be sweaty and wet, that already show that there is something not normal with your  imunity system and it can lead to worse scenario. Your finger nails can show if your body's hormone is imbalaced or your heart is in trouble (literally).

If you would like to learn more, do join our class. Our address : 3-2 Jalan PGN 1A/1, Pinggiran Batu Caves, 68100 Batu Caves. You can search for Tuhfah Resources in wikimapia.

Fee : RM150 per person.

My Gastronomic Engagements

My last trip up to the North was filled with a few objectives. First, to be in Alor Setar for Eid Adha celebrations with my Mom in law (i am daughter out of law, hee hee!). Second, while driving up, we will stop by to savour the food at the newly opened RADIX PIZZA!

We woke up early and pushed off from home on a Thursday morning. While getting out of our area, hubby stopped to fill in the petrol. Next stop at HPA Branch, to buy some supplies like Radix Cola, IMT Drinks, Spirulina, Kacang Potong ( a mix of nuts and brown sugar, i think) - all for the road. It took us about 4 hours from Jalan Duta toll to Kedah. Enroute, I redirected the driver (my hubby) to Sg. Petani Utara. As we all hungry, the only place I could think of, to have lunch is at RADIX PIZZA HOUSE of course.

There are an array of food on our table - Chicken Soup of the day, Radix Chicken Supreme, Radix Hawaiian Pizza, Radix Spaggeti Bolognaise and Seafood Fettucini. Savoured to the last bite. Top it all off with Radix Chocolate Float. Yummy!

The trip lasted for a few days, on the second last day of our stay, we took the family to Perlis, to see some snakes at the Taman Ular (Snake Garden). All sorts of live snake species and some other mammals.

After educational walk, our tummies were growling again, this time we looked for Radix Chicken House.

After searching high and low, at last we found the outlet and quickly ordered chicken rice meals for 15 pax!

After quickly finishing off the late lunch, we took a trip to Rimba Herba Perlis, unfortunately, we could not get in as it was closed. However, we just got to pose for a picture outside its gate. Enroute is a grape plantation?

My little daughter who is 4 years old, developed a fever because of the heat and being on the road for a few days. I quickly gave her IMT DRINK from HPA, to cool her fever and in the evening, she was alright again. Whenever one of my family members started to have sore throat, I would resort to IMT Drink. It restores the balance in the body's temperature and at the same time works well on the lympathic system. The cost ? RM3.50!

All well ends well. Alhamdullilah, we got home safely after spending 4 days away from home.
